Dog food company, Evanger, has recalled some of it's dog food after a canine death was reported today.
The recall has been issued on 12 ounce cans of Evanger's Hunk of Beef Au Jus, according to various news sites. The company has reportedly already terminated it's relationship with some of their beef suppliers related to their product line.
1 dog died and 4 dogs were reported sick after ingesting the product.
Our hearts and paws go out to those canines and their owners affected. This is yet another example of why it's so important as dog owners to be mindful of what we're feeding our best friends.
