At $85 per share in 2004, it was the most expensive IPO in history. It was a gamble for any investor, but with the stock rising 1,294% since it's public trading debut, it was a gamble that more than paid off.
(An investment of $10,000 would be worth $139,458.82 today.)
And I think we can all agree that that company, Google, has a pretty strong idea of what they're doing; and this recently released video, which encapsulates a year of search/culture - while also serving as a subtle marketing piece - in one minute thirty seconds, proves this yet again.
The only thing they left out of it was a dog, (and a SportLeash) but hey, we're a little biased. Plus, there's always next year.
