For most of us, being a dog owner doesn't just mean letting your dog out a few times a day or an occasional trip to the dog park. Most of us are handcuffed to our dogs and that means taking the dog with you everywhere...groceries, picking up the kids, or running up to the post office...owning a dog doesn't stop at the front door.
On behalf of National Dog Day, on August 26th, Auto Trader put together a list of the top cars for dog owners. They were quick to point out the features that put these models ahead of the rest.
Now, you might not get cool points in the neighborhood, but your pooch is sure to love you if you own one of these.
In addition to the list above, Auto Trader noted that dogs should never be allowed to sit in the front seat and that power doors/windows should be locked while Fido's in the car. It's also always a good idea to buckle him up...there are plenty of great dog car seats out there on the market so buckle up and keep your furry friend safe in the back seat!
