On October 5th, 2014, 60 Minutes aired a piece called "The Smartest Dog in the World" - and if you love dogs, and have 12 free minutes, we think you'll find it pretty interesting. (Full Video Below)
The segment from CBS stars correspondent Anderson Cooper and Chaser, a border collie who can identify 1000 toys and is being taught simple English sentences by her loving 86 year old owner, Dr. John Pilley. (Both pictured above)
Cooper's coverage reveals a lot of intriguing facets about man's/woman's best friends, including the fact that while humans have been evolving around dogs for 15,000 years, we know very little about their brains. Scientists have only just begun to seriously study canine intelligence.
It's a very well-done segment. We hope you enjoy it!
